I offer a flexible service to suit your requirements, therefore appointments are available during daytime, evenings and weekends.
Physiotherapy helps to restore and maintain mobility and function and maximise performance. Both people and animals can develop musculoskeletal issues that cause pain, discomfort, reduced function or compromise athletic performance. All types of people and animals can benefit from physiotherapy for a wide range of conditions, including orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological and performance issues. Personally I enjoy a hands on physiotherapy approach to aid the healing process. I utilise the latest techniques and equipment to facilitate restoration of movement and to promote optimal recovery.
At your first appointment, I will take a detailed history of your current issue, any relevant previous medical issues, current medication, activities, work and general health. We will then move on to a full physical objective assessment, to help identify relevant musculoskeletal issues. Next, I will formulate an appropriate physiotherapy treatment plan and answer any queries you might have. I will always start treatment on your first visit so you can get started on the road to recovery straight away!
For human physio appointments, please wear appropriate clothing to allow me to fully assess you, for example, shorts or loose clothing for a lower limb or back condition. Your privacy and dignity will be respected at all times. If you wish to have specific advice relating to a certain sport or activity then please feel free to bring the relevant footwear or equipment – We have seen patients with all sorts of sports equipment, from ballet shoes to golf clubs!
I am experienced in assessing and treating children, however, children under 16 years of age do need to be accompanied by an adult.
We accept cash, cheque or bank transfer payments. As a small business, we request payment on the day of treatment.
Most insurance companies cover physiotherapy fees, please consult your policy or contact your insurer to check.
Please contact us if you need to cancel or change your appointment. We do not normally charge for cancellations when we receive more than 24 hours notice, as we may be able to offer your appointment to another client. You will be charged for cancellations within 24 hours.
